In 2004 Griffith University’s Ecocentre put out a request for new display concepts. The centre serves as a convention centre and an educational facility for school children. The brief was to allow the public easy access to environmental information.

Undertaken as a collaboration with Vincent Cheng and Anna-Marie Wallace, a proposal was put foward that combined research, hand renderings and a digital fly through of the Ecocentre showing the proposed displays. As the winning concept, further research and development was undertaken to present concepts to interested parties from Griffith University and potential industry sponsors. Five individual digital fly-throughs were created to meet this demand.

oneoffdesign was contracted as design consultant during construction of the information gallery and has developed the technical details in conjunction with Griffith University's Office of Facilities Management.
